The impact of e-scooters on public transport

A third of all e-scooter trips are made to reach the nearest public transport station or stop. This is revealed by a new K2 study that examined travel patterns in 124 European cities, including 16 in Sweden. The distance to the nearest public transport station is the most significant factor in determining whether e-scooters complement or compete with public transport, according to the research.
