Linnea is researcher at VTI. She is a political scientist with a PhD in Technology and social change and Energy system. Linnea’s research concerns policy and planning processes in the development of the transport system, primarily with a focus on the participating organizations and how governance, decisions and planning are performed and organized to achieve societal goals as sustainability. She is interested in transport planning processes, how they are organized and performed and who is taking part, accessibility in rural areas, the development of methods and tools to support a more sustainable planning and the management of temporal traffic and transport planning during constructions within the city and how it affect society. Linnea works mainly with documents, interviews, focus groups and observations and uses mainly qualitative analysis. At K2 she is currently project manager for a project that concern legitimacy and safety in public transport. Previous K2 project have been about children’s participation in public transport planning.
