Presentation
Michael Johansson is a Ph.D. in Engineering and a researcher at the Department of Service Studies, Lund University (Campus Helsingborg). He conducts research in the fields of sustainable mobility and service science. Michael's research centers around accessibility in sustainable mobility and its impact on urban planning. The purpose of Michael's research is to study the effects associated with changes in travel behavior from a sustainability perspective. The research also emphasises how sustainable mobility, such as accessible and efficient transit hubs, car and bike-sharing services, influences the future need for hard infrastructure in urban environments. This is closely tied to the benefits, i.e., ecosystem services, that these areas could offer if utilised as green infrastructure instead.
Michael is involved in the K2 projects Resecoachning med och för personer som har svårt att resa med kollektivtrafik och Hållbara företagsresor.
