
Lena Levin

Lena Levin is a senior researcher and research director at VTI (the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute) and an Associate Professor in Technology and Society, affiliated with Traffic and Roads at Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering. She earned her PhD in Communication at Linköping University in 2003. Since then, her research has focused on interaction, participation, and equity in the transport sector. Lena is an expert in social impact assessment, with a focus on mobility and accessibility. She has also worked on gender equality and equity in international contexts, collaborating with gender researchers across the Nordic countries and Europe, including in the EU project TInnGO (H2020 #824349).
