Chad is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Environmental Science at the Department of Urban Studies at Malmö University. His research is situated at the intersection of sustainable development, spatial planning, natural resource management, and collective action/social movements, with a strong interest in the philosophy of science and methodologies for inter- and transdisciplinary research.

Chad’s teaching is highly interdisciplinary and covers topics such as conventional and ecological economics, social theory, physical and human geography, environmental sociology, and ecology.
