Alexandra’s research focuses on regional development, with an emphasis on the effects of improved accessibility. Until 2021, she participated in a research project commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration, studying how areas are affected by expanded public transport, such as the impact of public transport accessibility on property values.

In her doctoral dissertation, Alexandra studies regional development from different perspectives, with an empirical research approach. She is a PhD candidate at K2 and the Division of Real Estate Science at Lund University. Before starting her PhD, she earned a master’s degree in economics from Lund University.
